2014Church Weddings
Lancaster United Methodist Church 918 West Ave. J
Five lucky couples will get a free wedding this year courtesy of Lancaster United Methodist Church. “We know there are many couples who seek a spiritual grounding for their marriage,” said Pastor Terry Van Hook. “Yet cost and other reasons have kept them from the ceremony of their dreams.”
The church will be giving away the weddings beginning at 10a.m. May 24th and running through the afternoon. Each couple will arrive already dressed and have the use of the sanctuary for their wedding. Pastor Van Hook will be there to officiate along with an organist for music and a bridal director to help direct the bridal party. There will be time after the wedding for pictures before the next couple arrives.
The church is having a “Wedding Open House” between 2 and 4 p.m. this Saturday, February 22 for all prospective brides and grooms who are interested in having the church as their venue. Church members will be there to answer any and all questions. Call the church office to RSVP at (661) 942-0419
