What you need to know about our Head shot retouching.

Anyone can add a filter using lots of software or apps, but we retouch every image ourselves in photoshop.

You’ve heard it said that it’s always best to start with a good foundation (pun intended)

Preparation is key to insure that your headshot session is a success.

• Get plenty of rest
• Choose the right wardrobe
• We suggest long sleeves and solid colors
• Be sure to choose clothes that are true to your brand & authentically you
• We don’t recommend buying new clothes for your session
• Bring clothes with colors and styles that you feel like “you” in
• Better to bring a couple of outfits if you aren’t sure and we can help you decide waht’s best for you.

Basic Retouching:
What we do and Don’t Do

We Do:

• Reduce the appearance of dark circles under eyes
• Remove redness from eyes
• Remove yellow from teeth
• Eliminate distracting stray hairs
• Erase temporary blemishes like acne or razor bumps
• Soften lines

We Don’t:

• Distort or shrink natural features
• Change hair styles or color
• Fix wrinkled clothes
• Remove logos/graphics from clothing
• Remove moles
• Overly soften the skin or blur the image beyond a natural look

Enhanced Retouching
We can do custom retouching at an additional rate

• Background replacement
• Body sculping (slimming and other adjustments)
• Group Composites (adding/removing people from group images)
• Cleaning up eyebrows
